Reflection 1: We're in the Money—On the Realities of Winning the Lottery
It's the ultimate "it could happen to me" fantasy: choosing just the right combination of numbers to unlock a massive fortune. Though the odds are staggeringly against winning, according to a 2016 survey, nearly half of all Americans played the lottery in the past year. And yet, we've long known that many winners regret not only winning, but the unwanted spotlight it brought. Have you ever fantasized about winning? What would you do with a multi-million dollar haul—and how would handle the inevitable ensuing attention? Finally, can you imagine a scenario in which winning a large sum of money is more of a curse than a blessing?
